Drawing on our wide yet integrated range of expertise, we have created a selection of highly effective short courses that we term, "Life Skills for the 21st Century".

Dynamic balance is essential in our fast-changing times. We must respond to change, internal and external, or we may stumble and fall. There are 2 aspects of dynamic balance that are of vital importance:

1. Mind-body health and self-healing: Health is priceless. All our activities depend on our health and it is now clear that our health in large measure depends on our mental and emotional balance. As health costs soar and a large part of the population approaches retirement, the ability to maintain our own mind-body health is rapidly becoming a necessity. Prevention is infinitely better than cure.

2. Adapting creatively to change- whether at work or at home. All relationships require this precious skill, which necessitates self-awareness and flexibility in each moment. We must flow freely and creatively with life or else be submerged or broken apart. Stress, now our #1 health threat, is an "adaptation" disease.

Tai Chi & Meditation Centre has gathered, refined and distilled the essence of the great Wisdom and Healing traditions of the East and now offer it in an accessible and practical manner to both individuals and organizations. Discover the Warrior, Healer, Lover and Sage within yourself and bring those skills into all aspects of your life! Learn easy, specific, highly effective mind-body health techniques based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We offer multi-disciplinary skills that are consistent, time-tested and reinforce each other because they emerge from the same source and operate on the universal laws of dynamic balance.

Mind-Body Health Maintenance (Part 1)

This workshop will explore the "self" in detail - in terms of efficient everyday functioning, relationships, society, religion and spirituality. We must step into the 21st century with greater consciousness and awareness if we are to skillfully negotiate the major transitions ahead.
