“Mind-Body” is a term that has been over-used to the point of meaninglessness. The West has focused on trying to master the “external” world over the last 400 years, but it is now evident that this is insufficient for human health, fulfilment and happiness. We need to balance our approach to life with the Inner and Spiritual. The East’s (especially China and India) specialization and genius has been understanding and utilizing our “internal” dynamics and potential. We don’t need to re-invent the mind-body wheel...just retrieve and learn to use it.
Throughout his 27 years of teaching, Shifu James has emphasized and taught a comprehensive mind- body approach to health, happiness and spirituality to thousands. He has distilled the essence of traditional Chinese disciplines, including meditation, qigong and Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) into the Mind-Body Personal Mastery program as taught at the Tai Chi and Meditation Centre in Canada and the UK. Achieving Personal Mastery requires passion, tenacity, humility, open-heartedness, intelligence and constant practice (which is the real meaning of “kung fu”).
This unique and stimulating workshop is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced. Credit hours will be awarded to participants embarking on or already engaged in the Personal Mastery program.
