Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) is at once a moving meditation, a sophisticated martial art and a powerfDonnaMovingul mind-body health system based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Immediate benefits (see Research) include improved balance (especially useful in preventing falls), posture, coordination, breathing, stamina and concentration. It is very effective in dealing with stress. More experienced practitioners may develop self-defense skills and the ability to heal themselves and others through Qigong energy.

Tai Chi Chuan is especially relevant to our stressful rapidly changing times since it requires you to embody the Yin-Yang principles of dynamic balance. It is an unique, comprehensive and profound life art with yourself as the work in progress! Tai Chi and Qigong may easily be adapted for those with special needs.

Our senior instructors are experienced teachers and several have won medals in national and international Taijiquan competitions. We teach several Taijiquan Forms, Taiji Qigong, Push Hands, Sword and self-defence.
